Rewatching Elektra (the one with Jennifer Garner) while writing a newsletter and… I am still pissed that they chose that storyline. I mean… what‽ How naff is that? There are so many awesome stories they could have pulled from the comics and that Disney-esque thing was what they came up with?
Gah.
Bring on the darkness and moral ambiguity I say, dive deep into the shady shit she did before redemption. Or, hell, have her keep killing people for money, even as she saves the girl. (The OCD assassin thing was pretty cool.)
I did like that Stick was a pool hustler though, just FYI.
I thought Elodie Yung’s version of Elektra, in the 2015 Daredevil series, did the character justice, though. So, there’s that.
